“Our gracious God and heavenly Father,
we thank you for life and the gift of another day.
Thank you for blessing us with families
and friends and neighbours.
We praise You for the city of Salmon Arm,
where we can worship and serve You.
We ask you for a blessing on family members,
on friends, on neighbours, and on our city.
Watch over each home, each family,
each parent, each youth and each child.
Protect each one from physical and emotional
and spiritual harm.
We ask that each person would seek You and
find hope and forgiveness of sins in Your Son Jesus Christ.
Through Your Holy Spirit
bring a mighty spiritual renewal
to touch the whole city and area.
May there be renewed courage and
confidence in the hearts of our loved ones
and neighbours.
Almighty God, we praise You for what You will do.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
