Welcome To Mountainview Baptist Church

About us: We love the Shuswap like you do. We are proud of our city, Salmon Arm, like you are. We pay our taxes and take care of our families and each other like you do. We believe in Canada! We are grateful to God for the gift of life.
About “Church”: What happens at Mountainnview on Sunday between 10:00 am and 11:00 AM? We sing to praise God and like to hear each other sing. We do familiar new songs and time-tested hymns of faith because they have a meaning for us. The word of God is read while we stand, out of respect. The pastor teaches what the Bible says and what it means for our daily lives. As you know, life happens, and all of us look for encouragement and meaning daily. Making a living is hard at times. So we pray together. We praise God and bring Him our concerns and blessings and failures. We know He cares and He forgives and encourages us to keep on going and keep on growing spiritually. It is always much too early to quit and give up on life and people and going to church. We pray for government leaders at all levels. We remember Salmon Arm and all the people who work and live here.
Finding Us: We meet in the old North Broadview School at 4480 – 30th Street NE. Click here for a Google map
Purpose in Life: We want to be a thankful and caring community and desire to make a difference with our lives and our abilities. May we encourage you to become all you can be in your relationship with the Creator God? Spend time with Him in your church. If you are looking for a church family, you are always welcome at Mountainview. We know God loves us—that is why we celebrate Jesus, who was born in Bethlehem. We focus on His death for our sins on the cross in Jerusalem. However we serve a living Jesus, who is preset when we come together for worship. We come respectfully and with anticipation!
We are thankful for you, our neighbours!
We accept online tithing!
